Rolled out on 2023-07-23, this minor update to the Twemoji emoji set revised the designs of the 😷 Face with Medical Mask, 🥺 Pleading Face, and 🥹 Face Holding Back Tears emojis.

These three emoji designs had previously been updated within the Twitter web application's emoji picker tool, but not within tweets themselves prior to this update.
