Released on World Emoji Day 2024 (2024-07-17), JoyPixels 9.0 was the first release from the company to support Emoji 15.1.

This update also revised a significant number of emoji designs, as has come to be expected from a JoyPixels release. This included an overhaul of all flag emoji designs and a significant number of the symbol emoji designs.
